Lifeline for Flint hospital

Labour's downgrading of Flint hospital is threatening to remove beds in Flintshire. The Welsh Conservative Manifesto shows how we would back the NHS and direct resources into frontline care - rather than cumbersome bureaucracy. The 22 Local Health Boards introduced by Labour are to be scrapped in favour of an all Wales commissioning body - GP practices woul again play a direct role in deciding where someone would receive care. This will help relieve bed blocking which costs the NHS £90 million a year.
