Jonathan Evans MEP visits Flintshire businesses

Flintshire Business IS Signs who are leading providers of signage were visited by Jonathan Evans MEP and Antoinette Sandbach Delyn Assembly Candidate. The visit highlighted the companies use of solar panels to power signs used around the UK. The Company received invaluable support from the Welsh Development Agency - which has now been abolished by the Assembly and its functions taken "in house". IS Signs are a leading example of a "hi-tech" and highly skilled employer moving to Flintshire. The business has a patented a new technology invented by them know as "Horex" and they are european leaders in this new technology. Antoinette said "I am delighted to see inovative business in Flintshire, but it was clear that the amount of regulation coming out of the Assembly is causing real problems to local and small business". It is time for common sense to be applied to european regulation, Jonathan Evans MEP explained the role the Welsh conservatives are playing in Europe in trying to limit the amount of regulation affecting Welsh business.
