Visit to Maes Garmon

Antoinette Sandbach yesterday attended a lively debate with students from Maes Garmon and the Mold Alun School. The subjects included the unfair education formula which discriminates against pupils in Flintshire within Wales. The introduction of "Top up" fees by Labour, and the Welsh conservative motion passed in the Assembly stopping top up fees for Welsh students studying in Wales. The spending gap in education funding with England pupils where pupils receive £129 less than their English equivalents. How members of the public or political parties could have an impact on party policy and the impact of inward migration and the consequences of Labour's failure to apply limits to immigration from an enlarged EU.
