Conservatives in Delyn make spectacular progress

Conservatives in Delyn made spectacular progress in the County Council elections more than doubling their representation on Flintshire County Council. Taking seats from both Labour and the Liberal Democrats the results in Flintshire show that Labour are out of touch and have not listenend. Labour have now lost control of the Council for the first time since 1992 when it was first established.

Antoinette Sandbach the Conservative Parliamentary candidate said

"Voters in Delyn have sent out a clear message that the Conservatives Councillors can be trusted to work for them. It is clear from the results in Flintshire that they trust our County Councillors to deliver. Not only have we held our existing seats but we have a number of new councillors who will be working for everyone in Flintshire to deliver better services, reduce waste and tackle real issues. Labour have let people down in Flintshire and voters are no longer prepared to be hoodwinked by Labour".
