NHS Dental Services under threat in Holywell

The NHS dentist in Holywell which serves a population of over 12,000 is under threat. Parliamentary Candidate Antoinette Sandbach is helping local residents to try and retain services in Holywell.

Antoinette said "If the dental practice in Holywell closes there will be a huge number of people without access to an NHS dentist. The closest dentist is in Flint, which will mean that those who live outside Holywell will have to travel miles to get to their nearest Dentist. There are already substantial delays and huge pressure on NHS dentists. "

Antoinette has written to the local health board to encourage them to retain the Service in Holywell and is working with the shadow Health Minister in the Welsh Assembly to highlight the threat to local services in Holywell.
