Supporting Flintshire Manufacturing
A Flintshire based manufacturing business hosted a visit from newly elected Conservative MEP Kay Swinburne. Antoinette Sandbach Conservative Parliamentary Candidate organised the visit to Kingspan Panels in Greenfield. Antoinette said "It is vital that Kay for Kay to meet with a leading manufacturer in Flintshire to learn of some of the problems faced by UK business when it comes to European regulation. As the MEP Kay will be seeing how she can help Flintshire Business take advantage of funding available through the European Union."MEP Kay Swinburne said "The EU now regards the UK economy as the sick man of Europe and there is a very real threat that if the debt problems run up by the current government are not dealt with that the EU will force the UK to act through regulation. It is important that Welsh businesses are aware of the pitfalls and potential benefits of Europe. The meeting was very constructive and I will continue to act in the interests of manufacturing in North East Wales"
