David Cameron in Q&A in Holywell

Today David and Samantha Cameron visited the Tesco store in Holywell. Sir Terry Leahy CEO of Tesco was there to meet David Cameron together with Antoinette Sandbach the local Conservative Candidate, Cheryl Gillan Shadow Secretary of State for Wales and David Jones Shadow Minister for Wales, all met and talked with local staff and shoppers. Staff at the store did a question and answer session with David Cameron. Questions ranged from how Conservatives would support jobs, questions on knife crime, education and the NHS.

Antoinette Sandbach Conservative Parliamentary candidate said "I am delighted that local people got the chance to see David Cameron and question him on the things that matter here in Delyn. He answered every question explaining Conservative policies on knife crime, the NHS and cancer drugs. He gave a firm commitment to local people that he would support local employment by not going ahead with Labour& 39;s proposed tax on jobs. He also highlighted that they should not believe Labour lies saying Conservatives will protect Child Tax Credits for families earning under £50,000, and will keep Winter fuel allowances and free bus passes for Pensioners. David Cameron has shown that the Conservative Party has a real interest in local people in Delyn and that what happens here matters to him."

This is the fourth time that David Cameron has visited Delyn, the first visit was to Save the Family a local charity which provides help to homeless families. On a further visit to the area Mold Alun students had a chance to quiz him on all areas of policy. Last November David Cameron visited Holywell and spoke with local businesses from local High Street shopkeepers to larger businesses again having a chance to question the future Prime Minister.
